The Basic Substance wildcards can be found by entering 'system' into the CAS-No field in the Basic Substance search.

Starting April 25th, 2002 the new IMDS Release 1.8.1 will be in production. It contains the usage of organization units (in case you want to use this option) in the material data sheet working process. Additionally many suggested improvements from the IMDS survey have been considered. Find here already a description of the changes and enhancements.

GM/Fiat specific IMDS information
In January 2002 a letter has been distributed to the Suppliers of GM/Fiat (e.g. Opel, Vauxhall, Saab, GM North America Vehicle Operations, Powertrain and Fiat) with a request to input material data into IMDS.
