IMDS Release 3.2 is online:
With Release 3.2 the changes of Release 3.1 (interim regulation for the use of Application IDs) have been switched back to the previous behaviour. An overview on the behaviour of application IDs in IMDS can be found in the IMDS Steering Committee document:
The announcement of the IMDS Steering Committee concerning this change can be dowloaded here.

Summary of IMDS Release 3.2 changes for maintaining missing applications:
The change basically refers to material datasheets containing references of own modules or own material datasheets with application relevant substances. These own MDS/Module references (with missing applications) must be exchanged by a new version. This does not affect the possibility to add applications for references of foreign datasheets (¿ containing application relevant substances) when sending the MDS to an OEM.
