Dear Supplier,
Following our previous communications regarding the planned spin-off of CNH Industrial’s on-highway business in January 2022, we would like to inform you about the upcoming changes for substance data management.
- The new company, Iveco Group (including IVECO, FPT Industrial, IVECO BUS, HEULIEZ, Iveco Defence Vehicles, ASTRA, Magirus brands), will continue to use the IMDS (International Material Data System) as the substance data management system to collect MDS (Material Data Sheet). Nothing will be changing for future IVECO Group suppliers with respect to the current process.
- CNH Industrial company (Case IH, New Holland Agriculture, Steyr, CASE Construction Equipment, New Holland Construction brands) will instead switch from IMDS to CDX system, as we communicated before. Please follow the guidance how to use CDX to submit substance data starting on December 1, 2021.
The MDS collection systems, company name and IDs are summarized in the table below, please choose the correct system and company ID based on your products or the plants you supply to:

CNH Industrial prefers suppliers to submit data in the CDX System (https://www.cdxsystem.com/) instead of IMDS at this time. The following Org.-Units of CNH Industrial will no longer accept MDS in IMDS after November 30th, 2021:
