IMDS Release 14.2 Enhancements

With the rollout of the updated IMDS-a2 Version 14.2 on 15th November 2023, the following IMDS enhancements are implemented:

Functional Change

New search parameter “valid MDSs” if searching for published MDSs

Check Changes

Allowing high concentration of gold in classification 7.2

Ignore Pre-Release 14.0 materials with “Filler (dual use)” substances in the check for filled Thermoplasts

Furthermore, the following a2-specific enhancements are provided with this Release:

Completely revised A&R module with the new A&R backend server.

New Single Line Substance Report in the Analysis & Reporting module to complement the existing master/detail substance reports.

Ability to add Tier-1 supplier information to A&R substance reports to easily identify the supplier of MDSs containing critical substances.

New field “Amount Article” in Article based Substance reports.

New Bulk Processing module providing an Analysis Report for generating Material/Classification/Substance analysis for multiple MDSs.
