IMDS Connect allows you to use interfaces offered in association with IMDS to connect your IMDS data and communication with other supported tools, in accordance with IMDS “Non-standard data use” conditions, located here. It enables you to exchange data between IMDS and an external system as well as between IMDS and CAMDS.

The Download functionality of IMDS Connect gives your company the ability to transfer information from IMDS to an appropriate external system. The information includes all the data visible to your company, including own created datasheets, received datasheets and published datasheets as well as any other information exchanged in IMDS. The data is delivered in “flat files” that can be mapped into your external system’s data structure.

The Upload functionality of IMDS Connect increases productivity while reducing errors by allowing you to create datasheets directly from your external system. Upload is accomplished through XML files.

The CAMDS export functionality of IMDS Connect provides the ability to export IMDS data for usage in CAMDS. Via the import, you can import data that was created in CAMDS to IMDS. Both import and export are done via XML files.
