VERSION 11.0.3 (08/31/2017)

IMDS-a2 specific enhancements:

The following changes have been implemented in IMDS-a2:

Additional Request tab in the MDS details

In the search screens for MDS, Components, Semicomponents and Materials a new Tab is available to see the Request the MDS belongs to. In addition, the Details screen in the MDS Request has been re-worked to improve the usability.

Additional Check for the Examiner available

With the new Examiner check No. 38 you can now verify, if a given MDS is attached to an MDS Request.

Improvements in the additional REACH module

In accordance with §33 of the REACH regulation, under a given article all occurrence of any given SVHC should be aggregated. This aggregate represents the value relevant for compliance under the regulation. This is an important difference between the REACH regulation and regulations refering to the Homogenous Material for threshold calculation. In order to improve the workflow and to avoid a misinterpretation of the reporting result, the REACH report was adapted accordingly, if the option of not to analyze materials under articles is chosen.

Furthermore, we have added two new columns to the report that on substance level reflect on both the name and part number of the article (as defined under the REACH regulation) containing the substance. This should improve analyzing the report data.

Please note: With this enhancement we'll create for every REACH using company a new REACH base file, which is needed to run the REACH report. These files will be created after the IMDS-a2 rollout and may not be available before September 1st, 2017. We'll inform the users, when the REACH base file is available and the REACH report can be executed as usual.

Enhancement in the additional CoChecker module

Before this Release, the user was responsible for the file encryption before sending the export files to our partner tec4u. With this Release, IMDS-a2 will automatically encrypt the files during the data export that the IMDS-a2 user can transfer the files without additional effort.
