The BMW Group will change their IT tool for checking MDSs in IMDS by 30 April 2024. The check will still follow the IMDS REC001 as well as the legal requirements. However, the text in the event of rejections will change slightly due to the new system. Additionally, with the new software, the BMW Group will also no longer accept data sheets in handshake mode.
